SUMMARY
Rezoning Application 2020-255, filed by Bonnie Gosney requested to rezone 540 Woodlawn Drive, Parcel ID #72449, also known as Grid 817, Block 1, Parcel #9 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map, Parcel ID #72474, also known as Grid 817, Block 1, Parcel #7 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map, and Parcel ID #72454, also known as Grid 818, Block 2, Parcel #1 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map from the T-R Threshold Residential zoning district to the SR-R Sandy River Residential zoning district.
 
BACKGROUND
The applicant proposes to rezone nearly 60 acres from T-R Threshold Residential to SR-R Sandy River Residential. The proposal downzones the property in an appropriate manner given the infrastructure capacity at the north end of Woodlawn Drive.
 
The Planning Commission, at their December 7, 2020 meeting, voted 6-0 to recommend approval of Rezoning Application 2020-255.
 
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that City Council adopt an Ordinance Rezoning 540 Woodlawn Drive, Parcel ID #72449, also known as Grid 817, Block 1, Parcel #9 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map; Parcel ID #72474, also known as Grid 817, Block 1, Parcel #7 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map; and Parcel ID #72454, also known as Grid 818, Block 2, Parcel #1 of the City of Danville, Zoning District Map from the T-R Threshold Residential zoning district to the SR-R Sandy River Residential zoning district.
