SUMMARY
The City is interested in improving flood control installations along part of the Apple Branch Creek where it crosses Riverside Drive. In order to complete this, the City must acquire a lot identified as Parcel #56289. 
BACKGROUND
The City is interested in improving flood control installations along part of the Apple Branch Creek where it crosses Riverside Drive. The parcel is currently owned by Seven-Up Distributing Company, who is willing to donate the parcel to the City as a gift to assist in the new flood control improvements.
RECOMMENDATION
City staff recommends City Council approve the attached Resolution accepting the gift to assist with the flood control improvements.
